Niceland 2007
Hallo Leute!
Below is a frozen moment from Iceland when Marta and Koji were here. It was truly momazing. Me and Marta had earlier made some sort of round trip around the island (not including the fjords) and had a great time. It´s amazing to travel here at this time of year, as few sane people think of doing so, and you have the whole country to yourself. Sometimes we drove for hours without seeing an other human being - the sheep were still there though, and some horses freezing their asses of and of course we saw some reindeer in the East. Marta took great pictures, and she should share them with you some of these days. Koji is currently touring Europe, and Iceland was his third stop. It was great to see him again, and I think and hope he enjoyed his trip as much as I did.
Well, the main purpose of this blog is this then: I want all of you to come here next summer. We just have to find a time - that is to say you have to find a time! Ten days should be fine for an introductionary course:) During the summer it´s easy to go hiking somewhere with tents and there are some nice places close to Reykjavík.
British Airways fly really cheap from London to Reykjavík.
There are cheap direct flights from Berlin and Frankfurt (Hahn).
More expensive flights are available from Barcelona, Milan, Paris and some other cities during summer.
